I think he was younger (and certainly smaller) than the ones I have come across before, Madhu. He was SO friendly. In fact, he was licking his lips there, but I didn’t manage to catch that so well because I didn’t want to drop him – or my camera – so difficult to get the photos really. I was very pleased with how they came out …. considering!
He was so different from the other two I have seen before, close-up. They were both much bigger, slower and not as friendly. This little guy really DID want to be friends 🙂
What a little beauty…….and the chameleon wasn’t bad either. Fair play he was quite stunning. Can’t you keep him as your official flycatcher?

Very sweet! They are slow creatures and most of the time take ages before they move the next leg. Even when they catch a fly. The tongue comes out very slowly and whap like lightning it flies out to catch it.
The ones I have seen before have all been very slow – nothing quick about them at all – but this little fella was crawling all over me. Can you see how he wrapped his tail around my thumb to help him grip?
The loveliest chameleon I have seen Marianne!! He appears to be smiling at you in the last shot! 🙂

that just makes me happy
😀
Wow what a gorgeous creature, so vibrant in colour, you are very lucky to meet such an animal in your own back yard.

My daughter has been drawing them lately and this one is simply stunning.
oh wow, gorgeous!!
Cutest little guy EVER! I love how he curled around your hand. 🙂
He didn’t want me to put him down! 🙂
What a fab find! He looks adorable!
Absolutely adorable 🙂
The tail wrap and the wise expression make him seem pleased to be in your hand!
You know, Kathryn, I think he was really comfortable. I believe I found a kindred spirit. 🙂
You should frame it as a tiny little vignette somewhere 🐉
Wow, I’d be beyond excited. Very cool garden find 🙂
I didn’t want him to get agitated so didn’t hold him for long – but I think he quite enjoyed the company!
He looks like such a friendly little fellow, Marianne! So cute and what a great photo. 🙂
I’ve never met such a friendly little chameleon before, Cathy 🙂 I hope to meet him again someday!
I hope you do too! I’d like to meet him too. 🙂
🙂
Soooo cute!

I hope he stays around – I’d love to be his adopted Mummy 🙂

You’re right, they are normally pretty slow – but I’ve nicknamed this one “Flash”!!
So it is one that won”t be late for its appointments!
Indeed!
What a cool capture, Marianne! It doesn’t look real…
Thanks Amy.
Ooooooooh!!!! So cute! I want one 🙂 Do you ship?
LOL …. I’d have to find him again, and I’ve hidden him well!
He won’t be far…. he looks like a keeper to me 😉
I hope you’re right 🙂
Miles of smiles for this one, Marianne. 🙂
Thanks Sylvia 🙂
awwwwwwwwww so cute 🙂
Yep, yep 🙂
Oh, majorly cute! Attractive and interactive…I would have thought such creatures would scurry away at the mere sniff of a human!
The ones I have seen before have all been very slow – nothing quick about them at all – but this little fella was crawling all over me. Can you see how he wrapped his tail around my thumb to help him grip?
Made my day, he did!
Perhaps he knew you in another life….
OOHHHHH … now there’s a thought, Sue 🙂
😉
Oh my goodness! He doesn’t even look real! 🙂
Look at his little toes!! Cute 🙂
He’s lovely! You are so lucky!!! What did you do with him? Is he a baby?
I put him back into the bushes. I think he probably was a young chameleon, because he was smaller than the previous ones I have found.
Ohhh he is so cute!
He was the friendliest and most active chameleon I have ever had the privilege of meeting! 🙂
