Ahhh one of the things I miss the most. For me, happiness was sitting at the chiringuito with a nice glass(or 4) of wine, espetos and watching the sunset after a long day.
Amazing photo! I have missed checking out your posts, your photos have always been so fantastic! So happy to be back and checking your posts out! Hope you´ve had an amazing weekend! Giana.
I was really glad to open the blog and see a picture of fish, I thought you were going to post that the beaches were crowded like sardines and that would have spoiled the post.

Thanks Marianne, I remember my first experience of sardines on the beach was at Tor Del Mar in a nice beach restaurant. We arrived early to book into our apartment just north of Periana and decided to go for lunch while waiting. A lovely gastronomic experience. Another great pic and thanks again. Roy
Though it wasn’t on the Costa del Sol, I remember eating sardines on the beach in Valencia! So delicious!
Mmmm …. eating sardines on any Spanish beach is wonderful, Megan 🙂

I am so not a lover of sardines, Marianne, but I love this photo!
Don’t worry, Gemma, there are LOTS of other tasty treats on the menu! 🙂
I’m not usually fussy, just no sardines. 😉
I’m up for anything else!
A mi me gusta! Fabulous shot … I can smell them and can’t wait to eat some!
Sardines are such a great part of summer, aren’t they?
Lovely to hear from you, Patricia 🙂

That’s the beauty of living to the east of Malaga, David – the beaches rarely get so full, unlike on the western Costa del Sol 🙂
I remember having sardines cooked on the beach like this in Malaga. Yum!!! I like your new theme, Marianne! I’ve experimented with this one before. 🙂
Thanks Cathy – thought it was time for a change 🙂 I’m liking it so far.
It’s fun to experiment with new themes, isn’t it? 🙂
I can imagine the taste & my mouth is watering!
I think the sight of sardines always make me hungry. I just wish there was more fish on them – I never want my portion to end! 🙂
Torre Del Mar even 😦
Don’t worry, I knew exactly where you meant! I think you were just overwhelmed by your happy memory of it! 🙂

What a lovely memory, Roy. It’s a great experience enjoying freshly cooked sardines at a chiringuito on the beach.
