Nice photos. Excellent!
Hi. I like the colour, clarity and mystery of this image. Where does the door lead? Who is or has been on the other side?
Thanks – so do I.
The mystery must continue ….
that is superb Marianne…your composition and the colours…love it
So excited to hear you say that, Jo. It means a lot when such a great photographer as you says something like that. Makes my day …. thank you 🙂
Awwww
😉
Oohhh-please tell me you turned it and went in!
Ooohh, please tell me you turned it and went in!
Sadly, no 😦
Great shot, Marianne! I just love the size of that key 😀
It’s just so cool! 🙂
Oh I really love this kind of atmosphere haha…good!
Stunning photo!
I really appreciate you saying so – thank you 🙂
You’re welcome! 😀
What a fabulous shot, Marianne 🙂
Glad you liked it, Jo 🙂
Love this image, Marianne. Well spotted. 🙂
Thanks Sylvia 🙂
Great contrast between a soft pastel colour (delicate) and the rough old (seen-a-bit-of-life) rust!
Yeah, that’s it! 🙂
🙂
What a stunning shot Marianne! Love it! 😀
Thanks 🙂
Unusual colour combination, isn’t it?
Thanks for saying what I couldn’t at the time Marianne. 😆
Sometimes I see photo’s that is really so beautiful that I can’t find the words to describe how I feel. I wanted to comment on the colour and the contrast between the door and key but I was just speechless. This is an excellent shot! 😀
I understand exactly what you mean, Sophia. Sometimes I look at a photograph and just know it is one of my favourites, but I don’t really know why.
I love this one, too. If I am critical of it, I haven’t got my thirds right (and no doubt lots of other technical stuff, too), but hey …. it’s a keeper! 🙂
Glad to hear I am not the only one. Sometimes it’s difficult for me to translate my words – from Afrikaans to English and especially when I am having a crabby day. 🙂
You don’t have to be critical at all. I don’t care much about thirds and that technical stuff. If I see an angle I like, I take the shot. It sure is a keeper! 😀
Thanks for your encouraging words, Sophia …. it’s comments like yours that make me want to pick up my camera and get snapping 🙂
((((Hugs)))))
You’re very welcome hon and I am very glad to hear that. Now go and get snapping! I love seeing your beautiful photo’s. 😀 *hugs*
I guess it’s the symbolism of keys that makes them so appealing, this one is fab!
Yes, you could be right there, Gilly.
I like that!
Me too!
Wonderful shot, Marianne.
Thanks John 🙂
Terrific capture Marianne!
Thanks Madhu 🙂
Fantastic photo! So sharp. But more specifically, it’s the strange colour contrast, rust on peppermint green, that makes it a good one.
I love the unusual colour combination, Trish.
Thanks, much appreciated 🙂
Lovely! Bravo!
Thanks Cindy 🙂
